Hannah Juras
NCFCA Coach
As a distinguished alumna and now mother of two, Hannah brings a competitor's experience, a coach's insight, a judge's perspective, and a mother's wisdom to speech and debate all rolled into one.
What is Hannah's competitive experience?
What were the highlights of Hannah's career?
For all five years of her speech and debate career, she qualified to the Regional Championship in both speech and debate. She considers her strongest speech during that time to have been her Original Interpretation, which took 8th place at Nationals and won every other tournament in which she competed that season, including the Regional Championship. Her other high achievements include 2nd place at Nationals in Thematic Interpretation, national quarterfinalist in Biographical Narrative and Open Interpretation, and qualifying to Nationals in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Informative, and Impromptu. She is also thankful to have experience at the Regional Championship in many other categories including Team Policy, Persuasive, Duo Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, and Extemporaneous. What makes Hannah a good coach?
Hannah offers a unique coaching style—asynchronous coaching. With Hannah, you can send her a script, case, or video and have her provide written feedback over a two-week period. This presents a flexible and more methodical approach to coaching. Why not explore this resource below?
Why Does Hannah Coach?
Hannah coaches because she knows that a good communicator leaves a lasting impression on his or her audience. She looks forward to helping students leave their audiences better than they were before. This is why Hannah coaches.
